Our Mission
Our mission here at Stones Throw Counseling to provide access to mental health counseling to residents of Ohio and Pennsylvania. Our organization provides personalized tele-therapy with a local touch.
About the Owners
The owners of Stones Throw Counseling have over 50 years combined experience in mental health working in Ohio and Western PA. Their experience has shown a key issue regarding mental health treatment is lack of access. Lack of access due to geographic factors, transportation limitations, and personal disability/mobility issues prevents many patients from seeking and obtaining the care they need in regards to their mental health and well being.
Bridging the Gap
Stones Throw Counseling was created to bridge the gap between those with limited access to quality mental health treatment and trained professionals with years of experience. Additionally, in our fast paced world we often make choices to put our mental health needs on the back burner. With all of us attending to our busy lives, taking time out to call, schedule, and/or drive to a facility for our mental health appointment can end up being another added burden.
